Honda doesn't or claims it doesn't keep record of their transponder passwords, which is prolly true. Dealership will tell you Barrel, and ecu need be changed with new set of keys and tank/passenger seat locks which will run you $1400+. In principal, you can purchase a new ecu with matched blank keys and have them cut to your current key code, which should run you $800ish but i don't know if they will do it.. other cheaper options include:
- $250-ish: send ecu to specialized shops that hack it (physically) and reprogram it and then send it back with two matched blank keys (plus $30-ish if you want them cut, but you need to send them the barrel also)
- $400-ish: buy used and hacked ecu with matched blank keys..then cut them yourself to your key code.
- $100-ish: buy used U.S. spec ECU eliminating HISS altogether, then you can cut keys that will work without programming the transponders, but you will need to alter your wiring harness or buy U.S. loom.( If you have a japan bike you have another wiring problem with the exhaust servo)

P.S. people telling you just to cut keys don't have /have dealt with HISS before.
Good Luck

Check your owner manual if you still have it, it should have the key code. or call the dealer and give them the VIN. they should be able to dup a key for you.

2006 Honda CBR-1000. How do I set timing after timing chain broke? I've adjusted the cams twice so far.

Question edited for clarity and add maker.
Question moved to model category.

Do it once and do it right. It normally requires special tools that lock the cams together. Get cylinder 1 at TDC and line up the marks on the cam. Put the chain on, set the tensioner and re-check.

I lost my keys of my bike cbr1000rr 2007. I took it to a guy who cut and coded everything but there is no spark now.

The guy who "cut and coded everything" is your best source at this point, unless you want to just start throwing parts at it. Once the oem specs have been deveated, you're pretty much on your own when it comes to troubleshooting.
