i have a 88 warrior and it does the same thing. It idles fine, and i can give it full throttle for one goose, but if i hold the throttle for more than one little goose it just, its like it's being choked from eather air or fuel. I was reading online and someone with the similar situation said it could be the CDI,

Try checking the switch for your parking brake. It is the top wire in the clutch handle boot. This wire connects to your CDI box, and restricts the RPM's while the parking brake is engauged. To find out for sure, trace the wire down to the plug under the headlight assembly and disconnect it. Now try starting you machine and give it some throttle!

I think you have too much gas to air ratio. if u have cleaned carb, u must adjust the jets a little tweaking and some time and you should be fine

Yamaha yfm 350 warrior wont keep idle

Replace the idle jet (don't clean) with a new one from a Yamaha OEM only $5.00 & make sure the idle mixture adjustment on the bottom of the carb. is set 3 1/2 turns out from seated in (a brass screw ---Don't over tighten & break off the needle tip). Also , be sure the choke is all the way off or it won't idle either.

I have a 2002 yamaha yfm 350 warrior, how do i find the chain size on its chain? On the sprocket it simply says 40, what does this number mean?

the 40 simply states that it is a 40 tooth sprocket. The stock chain size for that atv is a 98 link 520 chain.

My 01 yamaha warrior bogging down

Have you changed the spark plugs? If your plugs aren't firing correctly, this can cause the problem. If you have dirty carbs, this can also cause the problem as you will put too much air in and not enough gas.
