98 gsxr cuts out around eight g when accelerating but fine in N

My 98 gsxr 750 cuts out at about eight thousand when im accelerating fast it cuts out a few times then if i pull the clutch in when its cutting out and keep on the gas a little bit the tach bounces per say without even hitting the rev limit then ill just coast for a second or two and then get on it again and the problem repeats itself. it does it real bad at about 90mph it will not go past 115 in any gear it just cuts out real bad but when just sittin in netural it will rev all the way to red line everytime when doing a burnout the tach will bouce as though its hittin red line but only hits eight to ten thousand rpm could it be an air leak i checked for vaccuum leaks, appeared to be none. it idles fine usually does fine on the highway at legal speeds but will get an occassinal cut out its fuel injected with new plugs.

that was my idea it does have the fuel pressure its supposed at idle or in neutral i just havent got to test it under a load but im hoping the fuel filter is the problem because its seems to get worse when its low on fuel so ill take a look thanks a bunch

i solved the problem it was the neutral safety switch on the kick stand it didnt push it in far enough so the bike kept dying for like split seconds so it would stay running but seem to cut out so i fixed it thanks for the help runs like a dream

Sounds like you're running out of fuel. It doesn't take much power (ie, fuel) to rev it in neutral, which might explain why it does that fine but falls over under load. Checked your fuel pressure/pump/filter?

1991 GSXR 750 cutting on low revs

run a can of Seaforam in the tank..purchase from Autozone put in 1/3 to two gallons gas drive it around for at least 10 miles to insure it cleans out the whole carb system.if that doesnt work, check all carb hose fittings when bike is at idle spray some Chemtool B-12 ( also at Autozone) around the carb hoses and manifolds..if idle increses thats your problem. Caution: chemtool is very toxic wear gloves and a mask.

I have a rattling sound in the engine of my 750 suzuki gsxr. it cranks and runs but sounds like something is broken and rattling around inside

Sounds like a Saturn engine that died at 57K miles when it dropped a rod cap while only starting the piece of junk.

How fast can a suzuki gsx-r 750 go?

Contrary to what the speedometer might say (and GSXR 750 owners), a 2008 GSXR does not have the displacement to reach 180mph. A road test conducted in germany had a rider reach 181mph - or what said 181mph on the speedometer - but was actually clocked on radar going 173mph. 173mph is what a GSXR will reach at around 1200 feet altitude and 65 degrees fahrenheit. Depending on the altitude and temperature, you might have slight fluctuations. If you want to go 180mph+, just get a GSX1000R

Top speed 2005 Suzuki GSX R 600?

It depends on weither or not you have any aftermarket stuff put on the bike. My 600 will do 182 but that is with a power commander, acceleration kit, k&n air induction kit, k&n filter, and having it dyno tuned. My buddys stock 600 will do about 166 mph
