Drain the carburetor. There should be a screw on the lower side of the carb float bowl. Remove the screw then replace it after the fuel drains. Turn the gas back on and wait a minute for the carb to fill with gas. Try to start the engine. If the bike doesn't start and run properly then shut off the gas and remove the carburetor from the engine.

Remove the float bowl and clean the entire carb with a spray carb cleaner from the auto parts store. Wear protective goggles to avoid getting spray in your eyes. Spray into all the little airways and fittings in the carb. Remove the two screws on the outside throat of the carb and spray into the screw holes as well.
< < READ CLOSELY > >
Be sure to put these two screws back in the same hole they came out of. IMPORTANT > do not tighten these two screws down. Only screw these in until they LIGHTLY seat. Now turn each screw one and one half turns outward. Put the rest of the carb back together, clean the air filter and install the carb. Let the float bowl fill then start the engine. Set the idle speed with the idle screw. This process should get you back on the road.

My 2010 flyscooter rio 50 will not start cranks but not start i changed the cdi ign coil and starter relay please help

Try start for about 30 seconds. pull the spark plug and check:
1 - is it wet?
Yes = getting fuel (Go to 2)
No = Not getting fuel
Carb is probably blocked/dirty
vacuum fuel valve faulty
Check carb has fuel in it. Open the drain screw on the bowl of the carb and see if any fuel is released.
If so, the vacuum valve is fine.
2 - Does the plug have spark? It should be a BRIGHT blue spark.
3 - replace the plug with a fresh new plug.

Need additional assistance...03 raptor 660, new plug, new oil, new fuel, clean fuel filter, clean petcock, cleaned carbs 5 times, used wire to clear jets(from one solution earlier), readjusted air screws...

how is the fuel flow? i just went rounds with a mower and it turned out the tank vent was faulty stopping the amount of fuel flow to the carb. it would flow fine for a minute until it needed air in the tank and then would stop.

Husqvarna Model 51 won't start. Was running fine and has never had a problem starting (owned since new, 14+ years). Chain slipped off. Fixed and then saw wouldn't start. Good bright spark &...

If you have a good spark, and there is fuel at the plug, the only things to stop it fireing up are a sheared flywheel key knocking the timeing out, or the engine has low compression due to wear or damaged piston and ring.

My 1996 850 volvo wont start the engine turns over but wont crank

ok, turning over and cranking are the same thing, what your saying is it won't fire, so , 2 things make a motor fire, electric and fuel, so starting with the easiest remedy , remove the distributor cap, and inspect the rotor and connection points that are inside the cap, check for any debris built up , sometimes you can clean them good enough to get the car to fire up, if it does , normally you would replace them , ( not that expensive) remove the number one cylinder spark plug, and once out put the spark plug wire back on it, ( your going to need help with this step) with insulated pliers , hold the plug and place the bottom of the plug against a grounding point (any bolt on the motor will do,, but try and keep it away from the carb as its Hopefully going to spark) have someone try and turn the car over as if to start it, look for spark at the end of the plug, if you have spark,, replace the plug and try and start the car , if it won't,, move onto the fuel problem, you need to make sure that the car is getting fuel, remove the fuel line to the carb turn the key for a second, you should see fuel splashing out, if yes ,, you should be able to start the car , if no,, check the fuel filter first , then the fuel pump,

06 ttr 125 will not start , Kill switch button

If the plug is firing OK then the Kill switch has no connection with the problem.
The problem seems to be the gas supply. There are three things required to start a gasoline engine. The gas, the spark and the minimum RPM. Two of these are available and the third gas is seemingly missing. So, please check if it is getting the required gas. Since gas is gravity fed in bikes, make sure it is reaching the carb in sufficient quantity.
