SOURCE: wiring problem gilera sc 125 motorbike (derbi gpr 125)

Wrap the wire round the Ht lead two or three times, it induces a signal to the Rev Counte, the wire does not have to be bare or connected to anyting other than wrapped around the lead..

SOURCE: my derbi gpr 125 speedo is always on 0 but only

It could be the sensor needs to be changed... In some cases it occurs cuz of the voltage drop of battery output... how old is your bike cuz if its a few yrs old it might be the battery

Sounds like you seized the engine mate, I think its about £900-£1000 for a rebuild.

Ive a derbi gpr 125 04 right when you press starter button its like it try,s to start but it,s fizzling i think its the starter solinoid its actually came out of its case so it could of got wet is this...

First, check all electrical connections are clean and tight including battery and earth connections. Bad connections get extremely hot and loose power, if water is involved could explain the fizzing noise. You could try to start it a couple of times, then feel the connections for excessive heat, CAUTION don't burn yourself !!!

Battery isolator wiring diagram

The positives are separated by the selector switch.
Therefore negatives (or negative earths) can be commoned and left connected to batteries.
As a circuit needs to complete a closed loop from battery positive through the selected switch contact through the load 'caravan' then back to negative, the unselected negatives don't do anything.
So, YES WE CAN. :)
Hope this helps.

Car battery is dead. I have a Black and Decker Simple Start car battery recharger. I can figure out how to plug the outlet part into the wall but I do not know what to do about the part that goes onto...

You should have 2 wires with clips = one red that you clip on the Positive [ + ] post of the battery, this may be marked red on the cable. The other black clips to the Negitive [ - ] post of the battery.
Don't plug in the charger untill you clip the wires to the battery, make sure the charger is set to 12 volts. If your cherger has a cigar lighter wire just plug it in to the dash port.

To wireup 160c Garmin fishfinder, there are seven clored wires. The book shows red and Yellow to hot. Black and blue to ground. Do the white, green and brown connect? Can the black and yellow be connected...

You only need the red and black wires to supply power to the unit. The red positive wire goes to a positive terminal on your battery or positive side of a bus bar or switch, the black negative wire goes to the negative terminal on the battery or negative common bus bar. Do not try to earth the black wire to an aluminum boat hull... You are asking for trouble! Best to run the black wire straight back to the negative battery terminal or negative bus bar that is wired to the negative battery terminal. The other colored wires on the 160C plug are used for interfacing with NMEA2000 compatible devices, like a compatible GPS.
