Your best bet is to go to a Suzuki shop and get one there. That way you know for sure you have the right battery and that it will fit your bike.
Sounds like you need to find a better dealer. Call around and ask several different Suzuki dealers what specific battery, ( i.e. NGK 3104R ), your year and model bike takes and what the cost is. Do they have one in stock? If not, then call Yamaha, Honda, and Kawasaki dealers until you find that specific battery OR a cross-over battery that will work.

Let's clarify something. Your bike is a Suzuki 400cc or 1400cc?
Is it a 1995 or a 2004? Exactly what model is it? The posting has some conflicting information.
On the neck of the bike, right behind the headlight, you will find the serial number of the bike stamped on the neck. What is the complete serial number? From that number I can find out exactly what year, model and cc the bike is AND what the stock battery is. Then I will try to find where you can get the battery.

guys ive tried that dealers no help rather sell me a bike than helpwith finding battrry
I've tried 4 different dealers between southern ireland and northern ireland but they can't find the model as its an import.
