If your vehicle is older than 1981 or if your VIN number is less than 17 digits then it wont be easy to date it. Your local yamaha dealer should be able to help you.

Try http://www.bikebandit.com Click OEM parts, Suzuki, street, and your year and model bike. When you get into the drawings. Find Electrical parts. I hope you find what you're looking for. If it doesn't work out, re-post your question on the Suzuki site of this forum. You posted it on the H-D site and I know nothing about Suzuki motorcycles. Used to own three back in the mid '70's but they were dirt bikes.

I am trying to remove the petrol tank of my Honda Varadero 125 v3 to change the air filter and I just cant do it, Have removed the top and bottom screws from the air filter cover but cant get the tank...

You didn't say for sure what year your 125 is. If it is an older bike '85, the tank has a single bolt at the back. Remove the bolt and shove the tank to the rear of the bike about 2 inches to clear the rubber mounts, then lift upward. See diagram. I haven't worked on any newer 125s but if the picture in the posting is what you have, the seat will probably need to be removed to get to any mounting bolts for the tank.

1987 gsxr250 parts availability-maintenance

Most dealers will not work on a bike over 10 years old due to parts not being available. Check with a couple of Suzuki dealers. The best source of parts I am aware of for older bikes is Babbitt's.

Personally, I would try for a newer bike.
