Question about Pit Bike 125cc 4 Stroke Dirt Bike
Riding my bike the other day and all of a sudden it just cut off and back wheel locked up. I tried to start it back up but kick start lever was jammed and wouldnt roll start. Can someone please help?
Remove the cover that houses the kick starter and look for a failed return spring or some other reason that keeps the kick start dog engaged.

Your bike is a 125cc giovanni dirt bike you can find parts on giobikes.com.when you bump start it have the bike in second gear and the clutch in a once at speed jump down on the seat as u let go of the clutch this will help get ur tire to crack the motor over.

After hunting around the web for a few, it sounds like the spring is from the timing chain tensioner. It looks like there is a button on the end of the cylinder, that end goes in first, then the spring. See if the spring is the same on both ends, the picture looks like it's smaller at one end and that end goes into the tensioner, not the bolt. I'll include a screen shot of the picture.
