Hi,
Check the starter relay in the battery compartment. Look at the relays terminals and clean it, test it by means of activating the electric starter, a clicking sound should be heard, if not replace the relay. If there is a clicking sound and motor would not run, the starter motor have a problem.
Try Youtube for video repairing of that starter. just type the model and problem of your scooter in their search box.

Make sure the starter button contacts are clean, they are very susceptible to rust. Too bad I just figure that out after opening and cleaning the starter itself, which was quite tricky to put it back in one piece.
