Oil overspill coming out of air cleaner/filter

I have a Dyna FXDB street bob 2008 which has 2260 miles on the clock.
I only purchased the Bike yesterday from a harley dealer and after the 230 mile ride home discovered the next day that Oil overspill had occured and was dripping out of the air cleaner vent and was forming a small pool on the engine mount.
Is this the product of overfilling the oil after a service or is it because of the bike overheating and thus causing the oil to drip?.
Can this damage the Bike? and should I get it checked out Immediately?
Bearing in mind the age and low mileage of the bike?.
Could you please advise...thanks. Gary.

Relax...... Harley's all vent oil thru the air cleaner, actually, S & S does to, except they put a overflow valve so it drips on the road rather than the engine. Various little things can cause the oil flow to increase, and yes, over filling, over heating, and sometime, just running balls out for awhile.

Its normal, and shouldnt cause any problems more serious than oil mist on yer engine ( and sometimes passenger)

Are the lights coming on? If not, check battery and battery connections for tightness. If lights are on, then I would check all fuses. Have you accidently hit the run/stop switch getting on bike?

2009 harley street bob pinging under load in 5th and 6th gear about 65 to 70 miles an hour?

That's normal. You shouldn't be in that high of a gear at that speed.
