With the chain on, check how much slack is present by lifting the chain up and down half way along
If there is too much free play the chain has to be adjusted by moving the rear wheel backwards.
If the chain is worn it may be necessary to remove a link to achieve the necessary adjustment.
After adjusting rhe chain make sure the rear brake is still within adjustment.
Make sure the front and rear wheels are in alignement with a straight edge when the front wheel is facing dead ahead.
