Question about 2007 Yamaha Stratoliner S
I own a 2007 stratoliner with standard exhuast.
I am interested in replacing the exhaust with Hard Krome 2 in 1 side burner exhaust.
A friend who is a retired Yamaha mechanic insists that by doing this I will lose horsepower due to the OEM exhuast having a exhaust port that opens and closes depending on back pressure.
He has indicated that my only option is slip on's.
Can you help me understand and let me know if this is true or not ?
This is not true I am riding the same bike with the hardcrome 2 into one side burners and love the sound and the performance
