I just purchased the bike. It has 26,000 miles on it. When I went to look at it, she needed to be jumped, so I purchased a new battery. I put the new battery on a charger overnight, and she started fine. I stopped to get gas, and when I tried to restart it, she failed to start. What should I do?
Have you done all the regular stuff? There are a number of interlock safeties on this bike. To start, key on of course, side stand up or in neutral, if in gear and clutch is engaged, it will not start, if the kill switch is in the off position, it will not start. Said differently, you must have the key in the on position, side stand retracted, transmission in neutral, clutch pulled in, kill switch in run position. Still will not start, check the start solenoid for proper operation. If that works ... suspect the starter motor.

the floats in the carb are stuck. you can try lightly tapping on the carb with a screwdriver that should do the trick.

i use a jump box on mine most weekends when i wanna take it out, i hook the red to battery and black onto my exhaust and it fires right up no problem. is the clicking noise coming from the fuel pump behind the ignition? it should click for a few seconds then stop. if it stays on then you are not getting enough fuel outta the tank, change the fuel filter and if bike had been stored for winter get a good fuel system cleaner, additive type. if in USA get Berrymans B12, double dose get bike to run hopefully let it stand overnight and all should be fine. fingers crossed. if is is clicking from somewhere else like starter or a relay by the battery, check all the ground terminals you can find

i suspect the battery is problem. Also you may have an electric fuel pump that is acting up.

I've just wasted a month messing with fuel lines and the like thinking that was the problem. Turned out to just need new spark plugs :)
