So... I bought a Daelim Daystar a couple years ago, and now i'm too tall to have a comfortable ride with it. Because there is no way of regulating the handlebars i thought about cutting off the handlebars, and then take two slightly larger, hollow pipe tubes to extend the handlebars. Is this type of modification legal? And will it be a pro, or con when i'm gonna sell it later? P.S. Don't know if country has too much to say if it's legal or not, but just in case, i live in Norway.
I don't know what the laws are in Norway,
here in the Colonies, it is generally legal to change stock
handlebars for after market handlebars. I wouldn't modify the handlebars by
welding, myself. If I were so inclined, I would purchase what we call "Ape
Hangars". We have some ridiculously huge handlebars available in the aftermarket
market. To my mind, they cannot be comfortable to use and there are probably
some safety concerns. Then there is the wiring that must be extended. Affect
resale? Depends upon who you expect to sell to. I wouldn't be the slightest bit
interested in a bike that was not stock ... but that is just me. Check here:

Google "Ape Hangers"
You can get your legal question aswered at your police department ... just ask them.

Ape Hangers is a little too much, haha. I checked with some people, and i got some different answers. But i think i have come to the decision of buying new handlebars. ''I wouldn't be the slightest bit interested in a bike that was not stock''. Those words opened my eyes, thank you!
I hope you found my comments to be of some value.

SOURCE: i need parts for my daelim daystar 125 does anyone
I've been in contact with Daelim in S Korea. Supposedly the US distributor and Daelim had a divorce. Parts are available and can be ordered. Cost of shipping and fee for wiring payment starts at about $80.00 Parts themselves are cheap.
SOURCE: Bike will start but quits as soonas I put it in gear
Starts and quits? No assuning - Gas? Spark?, Air?Choke Open? Will it eun with partial choke? Fuel filter restriction causes slow loss of power or sensation of running out of fuel. Electrical is go or no go, and quits suddenly like the key was turned off.. So I don't think its electrical. No assuming. double ck all and bypas fuel filter for testing.. Good luck. Double ck fuel valve.

SOURCE: how do i remove the front sprocket from my daelim daystar G/VL125
The bolt had a head that broke off at the required torque and made it tamper proof. Try knocking it round anticlockwise with a centre punch and a hammer. When it's on the move you might get it with pliers.
