SOURCE: Yamaha FZR600 1991 - Spark plugs fire but bike doesn't start
Question . when you say the spark plugs fired , do you mean that you took them out to check ?? or do you mean that you heard the engine crank over.Either way if your fuel tap is faulty, you have more than likely dumped a hell of a lot of fuel in your donk.Blow compressed air around spark plug holes to remove grit, remove all the plugs, put them back in their caps and ground them to the engine away from the spark plug holes in the cylinder head,Crank it over for a while, not too long, reinstall plugs and crank it over.It should be a goer. All the best luck liesel...Tabby.

check to see if the magnito has come loose, although you would hear it if it was, maybe the points need replacing
SOURCE: No current to spark plug
Best thing to do is get the whole system checked out by a yam electrician ,It will be less cost to you in the long run .as they can test each component for faults .

if you have power to the coil, and no spark at the plug, that tells me your coil is fried, but to make sure remove the plug cap from the coil lead, hold it over metal on the head and crank/kick to see if you have spark,if no spark then your coil is toast

Hi, add a new ground wire and ground it to the MOTOR very important. Just take any ground wire you have and ground it to the motor.. Once that is done check agian for spark. If still no spark. Make sure the cdi box is pluged in all the way and coil leads... There is only a few things that make it stop sparking.. Stator pick up coil ground wire cdi box then coil...
Check the leads and coils.. also cables from the coils to the ignition system..
