Car makes a loud beeping noise then the revs drop and power to the car cuts out. Car will turn back on after a few minutes and run like normal. Occurs over 100 kms mark.

it looks like u have bad spark plugs, mainly when the car is cold .this noise seems to be backfire coming thru air fllter casing or the accessory belts. also check your engine oil quality-replace if necessary
It would be an advisory noise telling you that the power assistance is lost when the engine stops. Run fault codes to find the reason for the engine stoppage and repair the faulty sensors.
Make model and year would help. but the good news... is no bad news. More than likely a Mass Air Flow sensor..can be removed and cleaned or a throttle position sensor.
Could be a vacuum leak too not too hard for a shop to find. Not big $$.
Merry Christmas
i have a 2001 crown victoria was driving down hwy car made loud noise and shut off had it towed home got it started and has NO power almost couldnt get i in drive way, had been making a slite noise before that and bucking for about 4 months in the last 3 weeks noise was getting louder. Was told could be timing chain how likely is this and how do i check it.
possible short of the circuit, power steering needs compression from the engine,if the dials drop they indicate a failure or intermittent blockage, check earth connection on car to the body, make sure the right type of battery is fitted and and disconnect battery allow the car to cool down before replacing to see if a sender unit is failing every now and then
I have had the same problem, replaced everything. Have not solved it. Sometimes car stops completely whilst driving. Your problrm will only happen when air con is on. There is a small electronic box under glove box. Turn small dial to the low postition or high, whichever fixes it and also bring your revs up with the idle screw on throttle body. I still have not solved my engine cut out problem, must be a faulty relay. I have replaced the computer and distributor but still have the problem
