Sounds like possible bad battery or batttery connections. If battery is more than 4-5 years old thatis a good place to start as it should be replaced anyway.

SOURCE: how do I check the oil level on a 2005 yamaha

You should have a site glass on the side of the motor down low along the frame rail. You will need to have the bike set strait up and down to get a reading so have a friend hold it up right for you. The oil level should be inbetween the top line and the bottom line that is on the case beside the site window.

SOURCE: How do I change the gas tank on a 2006 Yamaha

You will find it better with a manual. Mine is not the same model as yours, but it should be similar. Lift the seat, there should be two bolts, one on either side of the tank at the back, take them both off, and the same at the front of the fuel tank, note there are some variations, but adjust to them. The tank should be loose, lift it enough to disconnect the fuel line, after you have turned it off, and as you lift it off disconnect the electrical wires via the plug-in clip.

Bleeding the clutch hydraulics will not solve a slipping clutch. You probably need to change the fiber plates in the clutch.
