I got a 99 kawasaki and the reason it would bogg down like ur 2002 had to do with the vaccum system. there are 3 or 4 hoses that are connected to the gas tank, make sure they are connected in the right place and not crossed with one another. another place to check is on top front of the carburators. the hoses that connect there from the front of the bike cannot be torn and leaking. there is a simple diagram picture of the vacuum system under the seat of the ninja. these locations i have told u have been a problem for a carburated run 99 ninja zx6r

SOURCE: 2002 Kawasaki ZR-7S. wont rev up.

Check you main jets ccccccthey could need a good wiring through with needle wire cleaners or try running it without any air cleaner unit .If it runs well then could be an air filter problem.

Rm 80 bogging not hitting powerband but idling and revving fine

Check the compression. Sounds like there is a lot of bypassed gas.

Any one of these could be cause of your problem. Sounds like maybe a spark plug coils is bad. Did you gap the plugs? Also sound like secondary fuel injectors not opening fully, and air leaks inbetween intake boots and head. Start bike and let idle Use non-chlorinated brake cleaner spray small squirt on each intake boot find the leak when the bike idles up there is a leak. You can't properly sync multiple carbs if there is even one vacuum or intake leak. Take out spark plugs keep them in their own same cylinders. Read the plugs what do they tell you. Google how to read a spark plug.

check the carb float and the float settings. also clean all the jets out. check the joke aint sticking. check the condition of the air filter for rips or holes as that would explain why the bike is bogging when reved
