13.4 ounces in each one. Or, with the fork spring removed and the forks compressed all the way, the oil level should be 150 mm (5.91") from the top of the fork tube.

You actually mean engine oil, the transmission is not separate from the engine.

Sitting on the bike, it should have a black screw out filler plug on the right hand top part of the engine. It should have a dip stick on the inside to check level.

The oil is the same as car engine oil. The engine oill cans will indicate if it is for new engines or older, worn engines.

Hello what is the capacity oil of honda xr 250 model 2005

The oil capacity of an XR250R / L is 1.3 litres if you are only changing oil.
If you are changing oil and filter you need 1.4 litres.
The oil type should be API grade SF or SG multi-grade oil for motorcycles.
Viscosity 10W-40 as standard but 10W-30 ,20W-40 or 20W-50 are acceptable dependent on the temperatures where you live, your supplier can advise on this.

Need standard mineral oil SAE10W/40, amount needed abt 3-3.5L. Some aftermarket filters doesnot give a 'O'ring seal replacement, OEM will. If you remove the filter carefully, the O-ring should be alright to be re-used. Good?

No fork oil should destroy seals. I wouldn't go crazy on brand, as this isn't a full blown motocross bike. Use what you can get easily. Changing it is the important part, as many people never do.

I want to up grade my xr 200 1999 front forks , better forks and disc brake what bike will do this to my xr im thinking of change over,

Think of any of the motocross bikes.You will fit the cr front ends but it is also best to change the brake master cyl. at the same time.Check the weight of the exchange bike to get it pretty close to yours.Spring sizes and weights will then give you an upgrade ride and you dont have to play around with them too much.Look in the 250 2 stroke range first.Plenty of them around and the weight is similar.Hope this helps you

it is a shared chamber since it is a manual clutch. ther are fiber and friction plates whithc work with the motor oil important to use good oil and keep it clean/ changed
