SOURCE: Turn signals not working

hello
as long as there was no recent modifications to a different style of turn signal, then yes the flasher relay has failed. the fact that they do illuminate to the turn signal being switched says that the system is recieveing the voltage it needs. so that would leave the flasher to blame.
the only other possibility would be a very low voltage.

SOURCE: 2007 sporster turn signals flasher , bike wont start

He's right! The key fob for the security system needs a clear signal to the module to disarm the bike. That's why the flashers turn on. If the fob is at the bike, the security module has lost it's memory, or the antenna for the key fob reception is not connected. You also need to squeeze the clutch lever to allow the engine to engage also...new safety feature i think for 07. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: no turn signal or 4 way flashers on 2000 flhtcui

The turn signal module gets it's power from the accessory fuse. If the fuse is good, check for 12 volts at the #2 position on the turn signal module (located on the top fork bracket). On the turn signal module the #1 wiring pin position is ground and the #2 wiring pin position is 12 volts dc. If there is no voltage using those two pins, check for resistance between pin #1 and engine ground. If resistance is greater than 1 ohm you have a broken or poor ground wire. If resistance is less than 1 ohm check for 12 vdc on both sides of the accessory fuse. If you have 12 vdc to only one side, replace the fuse. If you have 12 vdc to both sides of the fuse you have a broken wire between the accessory fuse and the turn signal module. If you do not have 12 vdc to the accessory fuse you have a broken wire from the ignition switch and the fuse block.

1985 LeSabre flashers work turn signals don't need location of turn signal switch or are they one of the same

You mean turn signal flasher? No, the hazard flasher and turn flasher on older cars were separate. Often, the hazard flasher was right of the steering column (under the dash), and the turn flasher was left of the column. Look for two similar canisters. Turn the hazard lights on and locate the hazard flasher by feel or hearing. The turn flasher will be the other one. They both may be retained by metal clips.

Can not locate turn signal flasher unit. located hazard flasher but turn signal flasher is not on the same block even though the block is labeled for the turn signal flasher.

usually the one flasher serves both turn signal & hazard flasher, if either one isn't working you may have other problems.....hope this helps.....cheers.

I have a Frontier XE 2001. Niether turn signal works have good bulbs and fuses are OK. Where else should I look.

did both signal lights stop working at the same time or not,it may just be the signal flasher has gone bad,it is located under the dash by the fuse panel.if the hazard flashers work then i would say the signal flasher is bad.with the hazards on you can locate it and that is what the signal flasher looks like and it is a separate flasher,

Turn signals were working...but blinking fast. now they don't work at all...replaced fuse in side panel near door and still nothing. Everything else works..headlights, wipers, hazards..what gives?

you have a separate flasher for the turn signals.this is what your problem sounds like.if all your lights are working including the signal indicator on the dash then it will be the signal flasher.if you turn on the hazard flashers and locate it under the dash, this will show you what the turn signal flasher will look like.then you will have to look for the flasher unit on the fuse panel that looks like the hazard flasher.replace the turn signal flasher and you will have your signal flashers again

Where is the flasher for the turn signals in a 1999 ford explorer

The 2 fuses are no 10 (7.5amp) and no 21(15amp) in the interior fuse panel. The flasher is located on the base of steering column under dash. See this this pic find connector c214 on bottom 3rd from right.

Flasher or turn signal switch

When you select left or right do any of the bulbs come on? If you select left check front and back left side if one of the bulbs did not come on the flasher will not work. Change the bulb that is out. Same with the right. If the fuse for the turn signal is good (check fuse or replace do not use visual, some appear to be good but are not).
The emergency flasher is different from the turn signal flasher. Look at manual for location of turn signal flasher. If you manually lift and lower turn signal control you may hear a clicking under the dash to locate the flasher.
