SOURCE: Speedo, turn signals, brake lights, horn stopped working. All else is fine.

Gap your plugs to 38 thou. Check all your bulbs (one burned out will affect the rest) Take a look at all your fuses and make sure they are all ok. Otherwise you are probably looking at a wiring short which will require trouble shooting of the elctrical system. Buy your self a service manual for your bike, this will help you a lot.

SOURCE: my 2007 yamaha v star 650 keeps blowing the fuse

There seem to a 'live' wire (in the turn signal, brake light or horn circuit) touching the frame of the bike and thus the fuse blowing.
You will have to trace out the short-circuit.
You can start wth removing the connections to the turn signals thn fit the fuse and see if it still blows ....like wise remove the wire to the brake light and thn check if the fuse blows, same to the horn.
In short ..you can remove all the wires connections to these and thn fit the fuse and refit the wiring connections one by one ,where the fuse will blow after connecting the wire to say brake light thn the problem is at the brake light wiring ....likewise to the others ...onces you identify the circuit tht has the problem thn it will be easy to trace it and rectify it.
Hope this helps!

First, I'd try replacing the bulbs in both the front and rear turn signals. See what happens, that's pretty inexpensive to try.

The turn signals are controlled by the turn signal cancelling unit. You didn't mention if the problem was on just one side or if it was on both sides of the bike. I'd try to find someone that had a known good unit that would allow me to try it. The reason, they're expensive. The last one I installed cost nearly $150.

Started to blow accessories fuse two nights ago. Takes out speedo, brake lights, turn signals and horn. Have eliminated the speedo as the problem. This morning it happened when I turned ign. But was fine...

You really need a schematic to determine what equipment is on the circuit protected by this fuse. I do not have schematics for the late model machines, only a few earlier models. Some of the equipment supplied by this fuse are connected by sub-harnesses with plugs on them. If you unplug a sub-harness and the fuse stops blowing, then you know it's something on that leg of the circuit. You may have to take the tanks and the seat off to access the plugs.
