SOURCE: wont start

Hello;
If it starts with ether then you have spark, compression, and air. All you need is fuel. Make sure that you have fuel at the carbs and that the fuel is flowing to the cylinders. Check that the petcock is open and free of debris. Hope that helps;
Thanks;

SOURCE: i have a gilera runner 50 sp and it wont start

Has it been laid up for months? Did you leave any gas in it untreated? You may need to boil out the gas tank . Try a carb cleaner first that you add to the gas.Check the plugs.Are they black/oily (too rich / worn ring), Tan ( correct ).they tell a lot about the condition of the engine. Good Luck

SOURCE: starts hard and wont idle, no low end power, has

The starting hard and Idling problem sounds like carb needs cleaning. If this bike has moved from a different area it might need different jets in the carb. I might have jumped the gun the gas/oil mix ratio is very important check that first. your spark plug should be a golden brown when mixture and right jets are in. This might resolve the low end power if the oil mix is to rich or you might need piston rings. GOOD LUCK

  5. Make sure gas is on, some atvs have switch.

Scooter wont start

Sounds dlumb, but first check and see that the fuel is flowing into the carb. You should make sure the ignition is working properly and firing, do this by pulling the plug wire from spark plug and hold it about a quarter inch from metal while turning the engine as if starting. A strong spark should jump the gap without a problem. If the spark is nice and blue, pull the spark plug and check to see if it got flooded out and is wet. If so, dry it out, clean it, regap it it, or install a new one. Then try starting it again after adjusting the new carb by turning the idle screw all the way in, then back it out one and a half turns for initial setting. If it still has problems spray starting fluid into the carb while turning it over. You should also check the new carb float level since not all new things work as they should.

Weedeater ght 180 wont start

You'll probably need to remove the carb and clean it out. Sounds like the fuel passages may be clogged.

I bought a Guzzi V500 mk 3 recently with very low mileage. It starts fine on the choke, runs ok but after a run, if it stalls it wont start, I guess its a hot start problem. Its got a new battery, fuel is...

Your issue is with your carbs, due to the prolonged sitting they have become gummed up and are causing your issue. I recommend removing them, completely disassembling them, and soaking in a quality carb cleaning solution, overnight.

I have Yamaha 50 2008 2 stroke. I had problem motor wont start i replace spark plugs,fuel filter now motor start ok but wont hold idle well and wont go on water no power when i put on gear its shoting down...

Need to do a spark test to ensure all cylinders are firing but the carb may need to be cleaned. Yamaha carbs have smaller fuel/air holes so they get clogged easier than others.
