40-50 depending on how you drive it and where you go. Hard riding off road less mileage. Street riding taking it easy better. Check out www.drz.info for some good tips on the DRZ. Also www.thumpertalk.com under the DRZ section is great info and more than you ever wanted to know about your bike. I'v had mine for 2 years now and love it. If your going to go off road at all get diffrent tires. The stock death wings are dangerious off road. Good choice in bikes.

Bad gas mileage

usually due to bad "needle and seats" AKA float valves in carbs on older models that do not seal properly and cause rich running conditions, hence poor fuel mileage. I also suspect the sparkplug electrodes are dark brown or black in color indicating the rich condition. they should burn a clean light tan color. A qualified technician should properly overhaul the carbs and adjust as necessary.

Tune-ups left 25 years ago

I think common sense tells you
your money was not well spent
& those issues were put in there

No one can tell you all the what if's

You have to test a vehicle to answer that

I am driving the sane distance to work no changes, of directon. why my 2005 toyota corrola is burining up more petrol than my 1998. need some advice.

No two cars will get the same gas mileage, if your 1998 was a stripped down version without many accessories and was kept well tuned up, it would get better mileage than a 2005 model that had more accessories and needed a tune up. Everytime you use the air conditioner your gas mileage is affected, and even if you open your windows it is affected.

Keeping a car well tuned and the tire pressure correct and limited use of accessories will help on your gas mileage.

What kind of gas should i use for a 2005 Nissan pathfinder?

Your car can run on "euro regular"(87 octane)15% ethyl
and will self adjust for anything higher than 87,SO, if you put in "the good stuff"you should see an inprovement in gas mileage,BUT,as i tell all my customers, put in 5 tankfulls and log the mileage, then 5 tanks if the other,it may work for you.....

I have a 05 nissan sentra and it rides great, but the gas mileage is terrible only getting approximately 18-20 mpg. What may be the problem. I upgraded the gas octane.

you need to change the spark plugs and wires to properly burn the gas fully then you can just get agood oil change and you would get better gas mileage

Poor gas mileage on my jeep liberty

change your spark plugs if they haven't been changed in awhile. check your tires for the propper psi there should be a sticker on the inside of your drivers door that will tell you recomended air pressures go by this not the recomendations on the tires. also where are you getting you gas does it contain ethanol sometimes this can burn faster.

Poor gas mileage on my jeep liberty

Did this happen overnight or was it a gradual loss? Did you do any kind of repair before you lost the gas mialage? Is there a check engine light on or did it come on and go off? Did anything weird happen before the jeep got bad gas mileage? It's hard to diagnose a problem like this without actually touching the car.
Any other info might help me steer you in the right direction.

Jeep liberty gas mileage

to increase gas mileage make sure you keep on top of tire air pressure you can also have your tires filled with nitrogen instead of air also a K&N air filter does wonders and is good for lifetime worth every penny. another smart move is to use a fuel system cleaner regularly Lucas makes great products for this try local parts store.
