I've done som serious costom work on the vstar families of bikes hell I won a H.O.G bike show in sportster class with a vstar 650 classic with the softail frame turned ridged with struts lowered 6 in with a 200 series rear tire and a 180 fat front with custom 8 in over fork tube extensions that slid over the tops af the tubes and were machined to the width of the trees so I know a **** load about them and they r notorious for wire chafing Ive rewired every thing on them at first because I had to then to strip them down they will run great on about twenty wires and that 650 was pushing out 103 horses at the dyno drags at **** bang blow at myrtyl beach....no ****

If all the fuses turn out good especially the main fuse then you might want to check your starter solenoid. Try jumping the two leads on the solenoid if the bike starts then most likely the solenoid is bad. If it doesn't start then it could be two other things. 1- your Ignitions might be shoot. tell tail signs. Bike cutting out during the ride and bike loses power when you hit the starter button but power returns when you turn the key off then back on. 2- The Rectifier might be gone. The rectifier will cause many different problem that might have you chasing carb problems, to the bike won't start at all with no cranking

Start with the kick stand down motor kill switch its mounted on the kickstand itself get rid of the whole switch if it's the problem just jump the connection with a jumper wire or banana clips to c if it is the problem I've taken them off of more rice bikes than any other type of safety switch like the **** seat cut off on my riding tractor

Problem with the 2004 Yamaha Road Star Lost electrical power - Turned on key and run switch... hit starter...Lost all power. All fuses seem to be good. What should I look at next?

Have your battery tested otherwise take an ohm meter or any continuity tester to those fuses. Sometimes looks can be deceiving with fuses.
