Oil I have a 2002 MZ 125 SM. I have no manual. What type of oil should I use? I tried to change the oil and it looked very thin coming out. I switched with new 10W40 and it starts and runs but the clutch will not engage. When I shift into first it just dies and seems like the clutch isn't s functional. It was running perfectly before the oil change.
You've dislodged or broken your kickstand cut off switch. This happens on most bikes if you leave the kickstand down when you shift into first gear. It's so you don't ride with the kickstand down. You've dislodged or broken your kickstand cut off switch. This happens on most bikes if you leave the kickstand down when you shift into first gear. i suspect that there is thick gunge in the oil pressure switch which when warm thins down enough to allow the pressure to operate the switch, do an oil and filter change and change the oil pressure switch.
oil presure / level switch if you're sure and I mean realy sure that you have lots of oil and it is circulating ( you sound like you know what you're talking about)put a jumper across the oil presure swith and you will know you have the right ones because the oil light will go out and the bike will run
Good Luck Ride safe
