How do I disassemble the headlight housing on my 2009 Yamaha Roadliner?

The arm of the front turn signal light is mounted to the headlight assembly. It is loose, but I need to open the headlight housing to get to it. I'm not sure where to start, and I don't have a repair manual.

SOURCE: how do you adj this cutch it just started sliping

The clutch on the Roadliner is Hydraulic. I am pretty sure it is not adjustable. Make sure you are running the proper oil in the engine. Car oil can make the clutch slip and if it is slipping it may need to be replaced.

I am also a Roadliner owner.

The two prong capped plug end is inside the headlight housing. It will have a blue(or brown) and a black wire. Black is ground. Blue(or brown) is 12V+ when the bike is running and the switch is turned on. These two wires terminate at a plug under the tank on top of the airbox (under the ECM). You can tie into the lines in the headlight or tie in at the plug.

How do i install a new front turn signal bulb on my 2000 pontiac montana

You have to remove the headlight assembly to remove the turn light assemble. There are two mounting bolts that hold the headlight assembly to the frame that needs to be removed and one mounting bolt that holds the turn signal light assembly on the headlight assembly that needs to be removed. Once all three bolts (black plastic in colour with a wing nut) have been removed the headlight and turn signal assembly can just be removed. Take note that the assembly has a guild slot to be guild in place back when re installing the head light and turn signal assembly. Good luck and hope this helps. Keep me posted and I'll try to explain in a different way if i was un clear, Harder to explain then doing the job it self.
