I was cleaning the carburetor on my 2002 YAMAHA YZ250 and I tried to unscrew the pilot jet when the screw head snapped off leaving it inside the carb, with no head on and therefor no way to unscrew it! Ouch!!! Is there any way I can get it out as the rest of the carburetor is in brilliant condition.

Site above has all the parts and specs for your bike. Jet ranges are large for a YZ as many mod's are available and riding conditions contribute largely to a peaky 2 banger. Start with #40 pilot, and #420 main. Trial and error from there. Cheers.

will need to fit larger pilot and main jet
size will depend where you are as colder climate will need to be richer than warm climate, normally 1 size up from std on pilot and 2 on main

hiya guys, i didnt actually remove the pilot jet, the head sheared off before i could get it out, was thinking about using a broken screw exctractor but dont know if this would work with it being brass, just need to get it out to replace it.
