SOURCE: clutch issue

If the plates look burned... you need to replace them. Have you been slipping your clutch overmuch? Or clutching up into wheelies? You'll also need to check to see if the metal discs have either warped or blued. [i]Best done by a shop.[/b]

SOURCE: kill switch?

I would check the obvious stuff first, like the kill switch. Maybe the clutch damaged the safety switch that is operated by the clutch. But I would think that you could still start it in nuetral if that were the case. hmmmm........ There is also a safety kill switch on the kickstand that may have been damaged. It should not be any kind of major problem from just a little fall. Good luck

Pulsar 150 drive chain jumping with strange knocking from engine.

Hi,it sounds from what you are saying that you have got a inturnal falt with the gearbox,im affried the only way to make a propper diagnoses is to take it apart and look at the gear sincros there has to be worn bearings,or teeth on the gears,or the sellector,or something has just manidged to come loose.
I wish you all thhe best.

My 2006 FXDBI makes a whirling noise when it in neural, but when I put it in gear the noise is gone?

Sounds like the clutch is making some noise. Some bikes make a "whirring" noise as you describe, some make a "rattle", none of it matters. What's happening is that the friction discs and the plates are all together and spinning when the bike is in neutral with the clutch out. When you pull in the clutch to drop it in gear, all the plates and friction discs are now free from each other so the noise is lessened. If you listen real close, when you're moving slowly with the clutch out it's probably making the same noise. Unless the clutch is slipping or grabbing real hard, it's nothing to worry about. Ride and enjoy!

Humming noise coming from transmission when its in neutral. push the clutch in and it stops. suppose to be a new clutch also it runs great but if you lift the rear end off the ground the wheels will s

A noise in neutral that goes when the clutch is disengaged indicates a front input shaft bearing in the gear box . When the clutch is out that shaft is spinning along with the cluster shaft in the gear box. When the clutch is in that shaft stops (to engage first gear) and the bearing is no longer working.. It normally means a box out job.

Honda CBF250 - When clutch pulled fully, switching Neutral to 1st Gear bike bounces forward

I think could two things. 1. A sticky clutch from being used for awhile. Are you starting it in gear with the clutch in or in neutral then engaging first. 2. You might need a slight adjustment on your clutch. Particully if there doesn't feel like much tension on the clutch lever.

Noise clutch at idle and I have the bike in neutral

the noise you are hearing is trans gear roll over clatter and is normal on this cycle, make sure the the crankcase is full and also make sure the engine is at the correct idle speed, slow idle can make this much louder.

Engine noise at idle

It sounds like one of your idler pulleys for your drive belts is going bad. I'd take the belts off and spin these pulleys, If either one of them feels "funny" thats your bad guy.

Engine Sound

It is normal. Nothing to worry about. What you're hearing is the sound of the output shaft rotating and meshing with the clutch mechanism.
