I have a 2005 crf450r that wont start, there is no spark but the plug is brand new. what should I do?

Have you found/reset the fuel cut-off switch. That could cause the symptoms your describing.

Maybe the Cdi unit or coil check them first

Probably the ignition module under the three coil packs. It can be tested.

check the battery coil wire

If it is brand new, sounds like you should return it for the retailer to have repaired.

Assuming you are using fresh gas. Check to see if gas is coming out of the line, if not blow back up into the tank and if that works there's dirt in the tank. Check the spark by removing the plug and kicking it over with the plug touching the engine, look for spark. If no spark, try a new plug, if still no spark, you have a stator problem. It wouldn't hurt to clean the air filter in any case. Good luck!

I have a new baja 90 atv. it has no spark. Cranks over fine. fuel fine, tried new plug cked all wires fuse fuse ok. what do you suggest.

I would suggest that you have the valve clearances checked.

Also, check that the carb is clean. Pay particular attention to the PILOT JET as this opperates the idle circuit.
