I love my R1150RT. It is smooth, it has a lot more lug at lower RPM than the older modles (2003 and before models with 1 spark plug). The modifications with 2 spark plugs have cured all the surging. Should you want a smooth, reliable, comfortable and high speed touring bike, I would sauggest this bike is the best.

SOURCE: where is the fuse box on a BMW R1150RT motorcycle?

The fuse box is underneath the sadle ( front part ) and has a black LID
inside you will see 8 fuses ( red and green ) and an orange fuse puller tool

moved you out of , cars to motorcycle had to guess last missing model letter (S)
the users manual covers this and is free if you search.
the service manual too covers this in spades.
2nd google hit.
free too. but is for S model and not told by you.
I had r1000s , mint restored.

Removing and installing central
electrical equipment box
e
Caution:
Switch off ignition.
Disconnect ground (earth) lead from battery.
Insulate ground (earth) lead.
•
Remove dualseat.
•
[RT] Remove small side fairing sections at left
and right.
•
[RT] Remove luggage rack/case holder.
•
[RS/R/RT] Take off rear fairing at left and right.
•
[RT] Remove lower rear section.
•
Take out retaining screws (1) for upper section of
central electrical equipment box.

I have a 1984 bmw k 100 rt. The problem is at different times the spark plugs are flooding. Sometimes, it is plug 2, next time plug 3.

Time for carburator clean up!

It should be stated on the battery itself, or go to a battery shop selling motorcycle battery and either they sell you a new one or just ask them
