Try changing the oil pressure sender . There not real expensive and they go out more frequently than the oil pump.

You may be pinching a wire..

I am having the same problem, the electric gas gauge turns on while pressing the ignition switch. once the bike is idling the screen is blank where the fuel level should be displayed.

There is a direct short in the bar switch or in the head lamp bucket check the wiring

I had a similar problem with my Honda XR. Turned out to be the Ignition Control module. The unit is probably sealed and unable to inspect. I figured it out by hitting it while the motor was running and it would cut out.
