This may be due to the fuel pump pressurizing the fuel system if your bike is fuel injected. I know nothing about fuel injection systems on Harley bikes. I do not work on them. I specialize in the Evolution and earlier model bike without fuel injection on them. However, I have worked on other typs of fuel injected vehicles in the past. Check with your local dealer and see IF there have been any recalls on this as I've seen many complaints about leaking fuel lines. Doesn't hurt to ask.

Good Luck
Steve

Sulfur smell when I open empty dryer

FIRST: Is this an electric dryer or a gas dryer? IF IT IS GAS CALL FOR HELP IMMEDIATELY

What to do if Your Dryer Smells Like Rotten Egg
Experts recommend leaving the house immediately if you smell rotten eggs near a source that uses natural gas as a fuel. That's because a leaking gas line can lead to explosions if it's allowed to build up in sufficient quantities. Leave the house and do not turn on or off any lights. Doing so may cause a small spark that could ignite the gas. Do not use cell phones or door bells, or anything with an electronic switch. It's also important not to smoke around gas lines or leave open flames near them. Call authorities immediately if you suspect a gas leak. Most fire departments are trained in detecting and sealing a gas leak. Your utility provider may have more information on who to contact in the event of a leak.

Mercaptan is a chemical added to natural gas which smells of sulfur or rotten eggs so you can detect a leak. It may be a small leak, but it is never safe to have leaking gas. Better safe than sorry - make the call to your fire department or utility company now!!

If it is an electric dryer, it usually means you have some debris or slimy buildup. Check around and inside all of the rubber seals and clean with bleach. Also check thoroughly for any built up lint inside the machine that may have been rotting.

Gas valve wich way do I turn knob to install my Kenmore elite dryer

If a gate valve: Turn the valve clockwise to turn OFF the gas.
If a ball valve: Turn the valve handle perpendicular to the valve body to turn off the gas.

Install the dryer. Attach all lines.
Turn gas on.
Using a soap/water combination, spray all gas lines to check for leaks. If any bubbles form, then turn the gas off and seal all leaks.

If you do not know how to perform these functions safely, then pay a qualified technician to prevent a gas explosion.

Easy way to replace it

Replacing a water heater is no very difficult if you follow the steps.
1. If it is electric turn of the breaker and check to be sure it is the right breaker. If it is gas turn off the valve close to the water heater.
2. Turn off both the hot water and cold water valves
3. Drain all water out of the heater.
4. Disconnect the electric wiring if electric and if gas disconnect the gas line.
5. Disconnect both water lines which may have to be cut depending on how they are connected.
6. Now you can remove the water heater and discard.
7. Place new heater where old one was removed and reconnect both water lines and be sure you have a new pressure valve installed on the water heater.
8. At this point you can turn on water and check for leaks. you should also open a hot water faucet to purge the air out.
9. If no leaks go ahead and hook up the electric or gas lines and if gas is used turn it on and check for leaks using a leak detector or a spray bottle of soapy water and look for bubbles. If no leaks you can go ahead and light the heater according to its instructions.
10. If electric is used turn it on.
11. Take a long hot shower.

Why does the compressor run only for about 5 minutes then shut off, leaving the fan still running?

It seems that you have a system short. You have to try resetting the system. First turn the breaker off for the condenser and wait about 20 seconds. After you turn it back on the system should reset.

If this doesn't help I would recommend calling a ac service company.

Use compression barb fittings on the pressure side with fuel injection line NOT REGULAR FUEL HOSE THE REGULAR HOSE WONT HOLD UP TO THE PRESSURE. The return line can be regular fuel line because of the low pressure.

I have a air compressure with a square d 9013fhg44mix pressure switch. The problem is where the 1/4 air line goes, this valve leaks when ever the compressor is off. Once the compress is on it is off and...

The 1/4" line is very necessary and there are no adjustments on it. When the tank reaches full the pressure switch turns off the power and opens the valve to the 1/4" line to bleed off pressure from the air pump and feed tube so the motor can turn over the next time the tank drops to the kick in pressure. Every time the pressure switch turns the motor off a small amount of air should be heard coming out of the bottom of the switch for three to five seconds and then it should stop completely. If air continues to leak out of the switch by the 1/4" line, you have a bad tank check valve. The tank check valve is the brass fitting at the other end of the 1/4" line where the feed tube from the air pump goes into the tank. It keeps air in the tank after the pressure switch turns off the motor. Easy to replace, find the one you need for your model compressor.

Have pilot but burner will not start. Gas line is

There is an internal pressure switch for this unit that must sense water pressure before the gas valve solenoid is energized so that burner will light. If the air line to the pressure switch is leaking or has failed or is blocked it will not light at all. Additionally if you have had mice or smaller rats get into the unit, check the wiring to the pressure switch for any signs of damage. They can cause havoc! (Personal experience)

If you need further assistance please include your exact model number of your pool heater in your response.

Flame appearing from in back of front panel

This is usually a regulator problem, or a gas leak where the regulator line attaches to the back side of the knobs. Test for a gas leak first. You can use a mixture of water and liquid dish/hand soap. Saturate the area where the hose connection is, turn on the tank, but leave the knobs in the off position and do not hit the igniter. If there is a leak, you should see some bubbling where it is. If there is no leak, turn the tank off, open the valves (turn the grill knobs on) and bleed the gas out of the lines. Once it has sat for a few minutes with the knobs in the "high" position, turn them off. Then leave them off and turn on the tank, followed by one of the knobs and ignite the grill. see if the flame went away. I've seen this happen where there is not enough pressure in the line. Turning the tank off, the knobs on, bleeding the line, then closing the knobs and opening the tank and letting the gas build up pressure in the line before turning the knobs back on or trying to light the grill should resolve it.
