My 2003 ZX& jumps when I go from N to 1st, but if I start in 1st its ok

seems like the car battery is dead you need to charge the battery take the battery off from the trunk & recharge it & put it back or better thing to do this is to go Canadian tire & porches the battery charger with a high power & give your car a jump by it do not call the cab company to give you a jump cable because them car has a small battery & it wont work for you you would pay for nothing ok thank you good luck

no it is not ok unless you want to ruin some ellectrical wiring and the battery

You may want to check the built in trio-diode in your alternator. This lets current flow one way when it is ok. When defective, current will flow both ways & this will run your battery down.Take a fluke meter & see if there is excess voltage draining when car is turned off. You can replace the trio-diode or the complete alternator. GOOD LUCK, ROBERT OLIVER

Is the engine turning over quick enough, does the battery have suficiant charge, if not do not run this machine with a discharged battery failure of expensive electrical componants can occure, if the bike fails to start in the morning dont push start it, connect it up to a battery charger, or use ssome jump leads and connect it to a battery on another vehicle, a car battery is ok, the only thing is be carefull connect the leads on the poss side of the battery first and the neg not at the battery but at a suitable earth on the frame or engine try to start the bike if it starts ok re charge your battery or replace if at all worried about its condition,paul

either the battery is not good or the battery terminals are bad.
the ignition lights should come on , if they do when the charger is connected.
I assume you are connecting the charger or jump cables to the battery terminals

Be careful jumping of a bigger battery it can spike the regulator when the engine starts and tries to produce 50-60 amps

Car is in limp in mode unless you have the tools to work on automatic transmission you will need to take it to a transmission shop. Of course you can check oil level but I suspect you have other issues.

Check the battery ..does it have full charge at 12volts plus?

could be one of many probs check your altenator is giving a charge to the battery any garage could do this for you it only takes 30 seconds and most reputable garages wont charge for this

test the voltage on both the batterys positive and the jumping post positive while cranking, that will tell you how much power is being drawn and where you maybe loosing it, i would replace any battery that drops below 11volts

sounds like you need a new clutch
