Hi, Ivan before testing any electrical component in the Starting Circuit it is "IMPERATIVE" that you have a fully charged battery of 12.5 volts or more and be able to pass a proper "LOAD" test if necessary, you may have a preliminary reading of 12.5 volts or more but little or zero amperage, the battery is faulty and must be replaced. AGM type batteries fall into this scenario more so than lead-acid batteries.
1. Ignition Switch not in the "ON" position.
2. Engine Run Switch in the "OFF" position.
3. Engine Run Switch is "FAULTY" or corroded.
4. Check the battery terminals for damage or corrosion check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter.
5. Bank angle sensor needs a reset or is faulty.
6. FOB battery low or dead.
7. Faulty ignition switch.
8. Faulty starter button.
9. Faulty kickstand, clutch, neutral safety switch.
10. Security alarm needs a reset.
11. Starter relay, solenoid, starter motor or circuit wiring faulty.
12. Starter armature or field coils have failed.
13. Main fuse or circuit breaker may be blown or faulty.
14. Faulty ignition relay.
15. The electric starter is working but starter clutch has failed.
16. Check for engine trouble codes.

6. Water or dirt in the fuel system.
7. Water or dirt in the carburetor.*
8. Intake air leak.
9. Fuel tank vent hose and vapor valve plugged, or fuel line closed off, restricting fuel flow.*

Hi, Anonymous first check for continuity at the power and ground wire at the horn, then check for continuity at the horn button, back in the day there was a small adjustment ***** on the back of the horn, by turning it one way or the other you could set the limit on how much the diaphragm vibrated. Instructions
  1. Remove the spark plug boot from the spark plug you wish to remove. The spark plug boot is black rubber on the Yamaha Royal Star, located at the top of each cylinder. It is removed by simply pulling the boot straight off of the spark plug. You will hear an audible "pop" when the spark plug boot disengages from the spark plug head.

  2. Insert the spark plug socket onto the spark plug, then the eight inch socket extension, then the socket wrench. Loosen the spark plug by turning the wrench in a counterclockwise motion, being careful not to hit the motorcycle fuel tank with the handle of the socket wrench. The spark plug will stick a little at first, but then will come out easily. Avoid allowing anything to drop into the spark plug hole while the plug is removed.

1st check the fuse(s) including the main fuse on the starter solenoid.
Then check battery connections are tight.
If OK then check wiring & connections from battery to starter solenoid to ignition switch, but with no meter it will have to be a visual check for bad connections or squashed wires

Hope this helps (if so please mark as very helpful)

Sounds like the cannon plugs are dirty. You need to split the faring and clean all the male and female plugs on the radio and the tape deck. Once clean use a small amount of dielectric grease on them to help reduce moisture and dirt on the pins. Put the grease on the female plug where the holes are but try not to get any or very little in the holes.

I am assuming here that you want to bring them higher
I wish to bring my handlebars up a bit on my o4 RSMV, but I think the only way is to get risers, and even then I am not sure if it will work but worth the try.
