Why does my Yamaha ttr 225 leak gas out of the
Either your float level is set too high or your needle and seat on the float (the float 'valve') is not sealing properly. Either way, you will need to remove the float bowl to repair the problem. This is not too big of a job - just be careful as everything inside needs to be kept clean and undamaged.
2004 xt225 - starter relay is clicking and won't
Yup. Usually this is an indicator of a bad battery connection on the ground side. Remove and thoroughly clean the battery cable and the battery terminal.. Turn on your headlightsand make sure they are bright. have someone watch them and uou go to start the engine. If the light go out, It is a connection. If it just dims it is a bad batter. good luck
No spark on my 2000 model yz125 pleas help
it could be any one of these things.... the pick up from your rotor/flywheel could be crapped up or not close enough to your rotor/flywheel....cdi unit could be faulty....coil,ht-lead or plug cap could be faulty....could be a short in your wireing or chicken switch(cut off)
Which way turns the gas on
The tap bit that fits into yr fingers when turning it OFF and ON, should have a longer pointier end and a shorter blunt or more rounded end to it. With the Pointier end "DOWN" or at "6 o'clock" = petrol is ON and bike will run. With the Pointier end "up" or at "12 o'clock" = petrol is now reserve (1 to 3 litres left in tank, depends on the bike make etc) about 3.5 Litres on a VStar1100. With the Pointier end "VERTICAL" or at "9 o'clock" = petrol is OFF and bike will not run, petrol to motor is blocked.
Rear brake locked on
slacken off the nut on the spring
spray the part of the brake by the through bolt with wd 40 and using a plastic coated hammer knock the lever back and forth untill it swings free you will need to do this for about 10 mins spraying with wd 40 when its loose again tighten the nut on the spring and you are done
hope this helps

I have a 1986 monte
The window issue on the monte. Chk the ground from the body to the engine. On the yamaha all I can recommend is take off your helmet. Just kidding. Check the ground on the Monte (Carlo)? Ned
I was cleaning the carburator
seal goes between top black cover and top of carb. if its a flat slide carb the slide works off vacumn the large spring keeps preasure down on the slide when it when you throttle up the vacumn increase pulls up the slide to increase fuel...that o-ring seals the vacumn passage from the top cover and the body of the carb.. go luck with it..
