Yzf 1000r fuel guage light remains on with full tank or empty

An LED bulb will not work with a thermistor style fuel level sensor - it has insufficient current through it to heat the sensor for normal operation.
The problem with the signals indicator is also related to the LED but for a different reason - the LED will only allow current in one direction.
The simple solution is to go back to incandescent bulbs in the instrument panel for these two functions.

Engine knock at high revs

Sounds like Pre-ignition, aka Detonation, aka Engine knock. Carbon deposits build up on the head, valves and piston. They can get hot enough to ignite the fuel before the spark plug has a chance to. This is the Pre-ignition noted above. This is VERY hard on the engine. Take the head off the cylinder then beat the valve area with with a hammer followed by aggressively beating the top of the piston. Pre-ignition does the same thing. Not good for the top end, and not good for the crankshaft. Use only good quality premium gas. Change to a spark plug one heat range colder than the stock plug. Seal up any air leaks on the intake system. Running a lean fuel mix means running hot.

A “very helpful” rating for this answer? Thanks!

My dt 125 is not quite right, revs are stupidly high & carb leaks

your needle valve in the carb will probly have a little stone in and it is allowing to much fuel to go into the carb causing it to overflow

Rev counter not working

If it is electronic, suspect a sensor malfunction, faulty meter or a disconnected or loose wire. If it is mechanical, suspect a broken cable. You dont give a year or model so it is difficult to be more specific.Thank you for your interest in FixYa.com

After a 2 hour ride

Might have 12.67 volts, but not enough amps to crank engine or light the lights properly. Try putting a charger on the battery, bring it to a full charge. Next, put a load tester on the battery to see if battery is weak or dead cell. If battery checks good, check the charging system. With engine running at idle, put volt meter on battery-read volts, then rev engine to high idle. Volts should climb higher than idle reading.
