bad plug bad ht cap or cable, , bad battery, needs a certain voltage to work magneto. battery not charging because fault with rectifier (might just be corroded terminals) bad connection to coils. cut out switch corroded. check connections to cdi unit.

Look for the kick stand safety switch and try jumping it out. That may solve your problem.

If the starter motor is turning but the engine won't start, the first thing I'd check is to make sure you have your fuel petcock in the ON position. It is a rotary switch, usually built into a cylinder housing on the left-hand side of your bike. If you follow the fuel line you'll run right into it.

What do you mean by "Midway"? How old is this motorbike? What exactly did you do to clean the carburettor? Is it a new spark plug and a new, clean air filter? Question edited for a lot more clarity. BTW it isn't a Moped because it doesn't have pedals 'Motorised and Pedal operated - 'mo ped'. It is a Scooter. Here is your service manual. Check all connectors for corrosion, check fuses and grounds on the lights. It may be a voltage rectifier issue. Probably need a good electrician.
