Suzuki sv650s oil light came on while driving

Oil light on means little or no pressure. This can be because of a mechanical problem or fault/failure, or no oil, or wrong oil, or bad sensor. I recommend you trust the sensor until it is proven faulty. It is telling you there is a serious problem with the lubrication system . If you ignore this problem, you will probably ruin your engine and probably the transmission also as both share common oil.

Use the Zoom feature to get a closeup. Or, go to a print shop and print on large paper.

You can also use the camera feature on Adobe to zoom into one part of the picture, capture a screen shot (with camera feature - copies directly to clipboard) then use edit -> paste to move it into any other program that can handle graphics and print it (large).

Hopefully they include everything you need.

Hallo, I own a Suzuki SV 650 with prox. 30.000

Gee, I rode mine for about 115,000 Km and never had that, except for when I had the choke on and the fast idle was keeping the revs up. If that's not it, then maybe a sticking throttle cable. Otherwise, it sounds like a loss of compression, which would point to valves staying open a bit or rings worn out. At your mileage, I would not expect valve or ring problems based on my experience.

What are the tyre pressures on a suzuki sv650

Look at the sidewall of both tires. There will be a 'MAX PSI' embossed on the tire. It will probably say Max 45 PSI. At 45psi the bike will ride like a rock. At 20psi it will ride really squirrely. Find a psi at which you feel the bike handles well and rides well. One rider may weigh 125 pounds and the next rider may weigh 300pounds. The best psi for each rider will be different due to weight.

Hi, i've just bought integrated

Hi Matt, easy solution, just patch in the wires from your new mirror / indicators, to your existing front indicator wires, earth, plus positive.
You can buy special elctrical clips that make this job very easy. From an auto parts store, mechanic, or auto elctrician.

False speed readings (186mph) even when stopped

unfamiliar with bike but if cable driven, then the cable is probably in need of renewal. on older machines this could have been solved by dripping oil through the cable but newer machine (since the 80s) oil will actually cause the problem.

if not cable driven, it will be either the sensor in the wheel (remove carefully, clean, grease and rebuild) or the speedo control unit.
either of these normally are unrepairable and need replacing (expensive)

Strange noise coming from SUzuki SV650 front part of engine..

noises are tough to troubleshoot without being able to hear it. I don't know of any common problems, but Clymer sells a manual for SV 650's up to year 2002. If yours is newer, the manual may still be of some help because I don't think the SV's have changed much over the years.

Engine wont start it is

You need 3 things for an engine to run; spark, fuel and compression. How is the compression? Is the spark plug new? If the plug is old, it could give a nice spark when you check it but have no spark under compression. Make sure the fuel you're using is fresh. If you give it a small shot of starting fluid and it fires up, your fuel delivery is suspect. In that case, you will need to remove the carb an THOROUGHLY clean it paying close attention to jets and passages. I always give people this warning: when cleaning jets and passages, NEVER use steel instruments. Use wood, copper wire or other materials that are softer than the material you're working on or you run the risk of ruining jets or even the entire carburetor.

I have a 1987 suzuki

Hi, use your key to open the side panel. You have to unscrew both battery posts in place, then slide the battery out. Don't loose the nuts that the battery screws screw into. Once the battery is charged, you need to put the nuts in place inside the terminals and carefully slide the battery in without disturbing the nuts. Then the screws will go into the nuts for tightening. Always loosen the negative cable first and replace it last to minimize the chance of shorting the positive to ground when attaching the positive cable. Please let me know if you have more questions. I have one of these and I have the manual for it.

Hi and welcome to FixYa!

Yes it may but as a first course of action I strongly suggest that you replace the fuel filter. It can be clogged causing fuel supply irregularities. If it still doesn't help then replace the fuel pump and you'll be good.

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

Where is the rectifier located on my 2004 suzuki katana 600

Behind the radiator on the left side. It is the device with cooling fins, even though the electronic parts are embedded in rubber paste. The location isn't ideal and sudden defects leave people stranded so what people do is relocate the regulator/rectifier to a cooler place. Perhaps to the air inlet, under the air filter. Follow the three, mostly, yellow cables that originate from the stator when you don't find it behind the radiator.

Why my Suzuki TF 125 losses power in the midway? What are the causes for such loss of power?

What do you mean by "Midway"? How old is this motorbike? What exactly did you do to clean the carburettor? Is it a new spark plug and a new, clean air filter? Did you empty the fuel tank to remove the fuel tap to clean the filter on the inside of the tap? Is it doing anything else? Things like - is it hard to start, has heavier exhaust smoke or it has a rough and uneven idle.

I own a 2009 Suzuki Boulevard. Problem is the motor is jammed. It turns but only half a turn before it hits something solid inside. what are the possibilities it could be that is causing the problem

A broken timing chain is the most likely cause, the piston is hitting an open valve, or you have a dropped valve or a stuck valve. Another possibility is something jamming behind behind the side covers. The key would be how you discovered this? Driving along at 105 and the engine stopped, or ???https://www.google.com/search?q=2009+suzuki+boulevard+timing+chain+or+timing+belt....
