My new suzuki wont start

Hello Anon, Has the bike been sitting for a while? If yes, then the carb needs a PROFESSIONAL cleaning..there are too many little passages and jets that must be perfectly clean for it to run! NOT to mention the fuel passage into the carb..(Needle and seat).. If this is the situation... get it cleaned and enjoy the ride... wear a helmet - even if your state law doesn't require it!!

It has stood for 3 years put new petrel in charged

Try draining the carb to attempt to flush out any gum that has accumulated in the float bowl while storing.
If that doesnt work , you will have to remove the carb & strip it down, blowing through the jets.
Also fit a new plug.
When storing away , always drain the carb down to prevent it gumming up again !

Engine oil getting mix to

If you are riding a dirt bike you probably have a leaking water pump seal allowing transmission oil into the antifreeze. If the motorcycle is a four stroke street bike the leak is probably in the head gasket.

hi this sounds like you fuel to air mix, and can be adjusted by a screw type knob at the side of the engine, turn this until it idles at about 1000 rpm, ( that's if your motorcycle is a 500cc or more) if this does not cure it, then the carburettor will have to be balanced...hope this helps

Try spraying a little starting fluid into the combustion chamber (not much) and see if it trys to kick over. If it doesn't, it could be the CDI module or coil. If it does it's probably not getting fuel past the carb. "Pull the plug, pour a cap full of 20w50 in. Drain the carb and blast the air box with carb cleaner. Put it back together and give it a try". ----------------
Check out.Thanks.

Where is the rectifier located on my 2004 suzuki katana 600

Behind the radiator on the left side. It is the device with cooling fins, even though the electronic parts are embedded in rubber paste. The location isn't ideal and sudden defects leave people stranded so what people do is relocate the regulator/rectifier to a cooler place. Perhaps to the air inlet, under the air filter. Follow the three, mostly, yellow cables that originate from the stator when you don't find it behind the radiator.
