Suzuki VL intruder 125 back brake sticking and braklight stuck on
i too had this problem .....dnt worry just remove the brake cable and lubricate it with some spray like ABRO or WD40 lubricating spray then you sprayed some in the cable.play with it pull it forward and push it backward.,lubricate and repeat the steps till you find the cable goes smoother...you know it usually happens due to dust and dirt which enters the cable n get it stuck, try this n tell me..
My regulator keeps blowing
Wiring looms for these are cheap enough on ebay, i suggest buying one and replace the lot, also check your fuses.
Bike wont start. Solenoid clicks when electric
When I had my VL 125 i got this problem after a very cold winter, I jumped the bike and ended up splitting the second ignition coil which fed back into and blew the DCI unit, wasn't cheap to have repaired but cheaper than new.
Firstly upgrade your plugs to iridium ones, they never let me down.
Secondly trickle charge your battery for 24-48 hours
Thirdly if still the same try bump starting bike with a good run up in 2nd gear as it may be a stuck starter motor.
The starter motors on these are known for their issues and again ain't cheap for new but if you know a good engineer, there are some ways of modding other starter motors to use as a replacement.
What is the black button on the gas tank of suzuki
Well mine seems to be a dummy button but on others it switches the display from miles travelled to a display where you can see how many miles your single journey is, tried replacing the wires on mine but still does nothing.
Hope this helped.
Just rebuilt my vl125 and
try taking the cable out from the gearbox end and the speedo end. check that when you turn one end of the inner cable the other end turns, if it doesnt then the cable is the problem. as you sound like a technical guy then i am sure you know that.
i would suspect that it is the gear that drives the cable in the gearbox. a rather wacky but effective way of testing this is to remove the cable fromt he speedo end. hold it in your hand and roll the bike down hill whilst looking at the free end of the cable, if the inner rotates then the chances are it is the speedo or the connection at the speedo. if it doesn't then the little plastic gear is not driving the cable so look down at that end. whilst not wishing to sound patronising, are you 100% sure that you have assembled the speedo drive mechanism. let me know how you get on.
When i select a gear my bike stalls. happen in all
It is likely your kick stand interlock has failed. The interlock prevents riding with the kick stand down. If the switch doesn't close, the ignition is shut off. Check the operation of the switch by watching it as the stand is put up. If the stand is not pushing the switch button in, adjust the switch mounting. If the stand IS closing the switch, try to remove the switch connector, and short across the terminals in the connector with a paper clip to bypass the switch. If this works to keep the engine running, replace the switch. If you have more questions, please let me know.

Hi,sometimes its hard to get my suzuki vl 125 into
If the gearbox oil is REALLY dirty it can affect shifting. The only other thing will be a shift fork going bad. Replacing a shift fork is not generally a do-it-yourself project. The dealer will charge $750 or more. Sure do hope you have dirty oil...
