Hello, can you tell me how to replace the spark

you need to close your petcock on your fuel line and then unhook your
fuel line from petcock . now find your fuel tank bolts and remove tank
from frame or if possible lift high enough to get to spark plug . it is easier to just take tank off . this way you can clean up everything under
the tank. remove plug and replace with new plug, should be pre gapped but you can check it. to to replace just reverse evething you
did too get to the plug........

My suzuki gz marauder won't go down into first or

The bike has a bent shift fork. The engine will need to be torn completely down to replace the bad fork. Check with a local Suzuki dealer as to the cost an to confirm what I believe the problem to be. I fear the cost will be over $700. Bummer. As to the engine stalling, cleaning he carb will probably fix the problem. Please rate my answer. Thanks.

Rear brake sticking

Try oiling (lightly) the brake shaft where it goes into the rear wheel hub and where there are moving pivots and bushings. Make sure the spring on the pedal arm returns the arm smartly. Worst case, remove the rear wheel and grease lightly, the brake cam which sits between the ends of the brake shoes. Wipe out any brake dust from the brake shoes and drum. Hope this helps!

Gear lever doesnt click - cant change out of 1st

The problem is a bent shift fork. Best to have the shop do the repair. Most riders don't have the special tools needed much less the know-how to do the repair. The entire engine comes out then gets completely torn down, top end and bottom end. The center case splits and now the mechanic has access to the gears and shift forks. You will have at least 100 parts on the work bench. This is not generally a job for the home mechanic.

Which way should the reserve tap be facing so its

There is usually "on","Prim",and "Res". If in the on position it only uses fuel when the bike is running. so thats where it should be unless your low on gas and need reserve. The pri position should only be used for a few seconds or used to start the bike and once started should be switched to on.

Wheres the battery on a 2004 800 marauder?

From looking at the picture of the Marauder and knowing alittle bit about motorcycles. They are usually behind a panel about mid part down the bike. There is usually two or three screws that you can loosen to remove the panel and the battery is located there. If your bike is like the standard picture online I would suggest the triangle panel that says gz 800 on it.

What to do if the engine gets to hot?????

Is it getting too hot to run properly? Most air-cooled motors run plenty hot compared to their water cooled counterparts.

If you think the bike is running too hot because of running issues I would check the usual suspects. Timing, spark, fuel.

You will need a timing light and a clymer or factory manual if you got one with the bike. The spark plug just needs checking to see if its worn down causing its own issues with timing *(with the side benefit of seeing if the bike is running too lean. A bone white spark plug electrode tip cover=too lean)

This is to say that bad timing, widened/worn spark plug or lean fuel mix can all cause a bike to run hotter than normal. But they all usually come along with driveability issues as well.

So....check it out....be careful....and good luck!

Carb

It is a vent line and must not be connected to anything and allowed to free flow air. If it becomes restriced, the carb will not vent properly and will vapor lock.
Best wishes
