My bike stood for 3 months and now it starts then

I agree the battery is charged. But is the battery very old.If yes then,in many cases the old batteries are internally drained battery with dead cells. So this battery gets charged quickly and also loose charge very quickly and this problem occurs .Get the voltage of battery checked. Also check the voltage of battery before and after driving. If the voltage goes low after driving then its faulty alternator in the Suzuki bike causing this problem.Try will new fully charged battery to confirm the fault. Thanks. Keep updated for any more query. You can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

I rebuilt my motor on my 2002 gsxr 750 over the

Most likely cause is a fouled spark plug. Engines fresh out of overhaul often have this happen as engine oil gets past piston rings that haven't seated in yet.

Remove the spark plugs, clean or replace them. Also check for cracked, damaged, or dirty spark plug caps. This can also cause misfiring and flames shooting from the exhaust.

Turns over but will not start

get a tester and see how much amp the rectifier gives out, it should read more than 12 volts, if it is 11 and lower, the rectifier is busted. Charge your battery first before doing this test, if it starts on a charged bat, it could only be the bat. The possible sources of trouble is plenty, that's just a few suggestions.

Trouble starting

use fresh gas, old gas will possibly have gone OFF and gummed up the carb or injector whatever your bike has. get a good fuel system cleaning additive, (Berrymans B12 if you are in the States) also check your fuel filter. is gas getting to the plugs? i suspect not.

750 gsx750f smoking

Bobby, There are two types of smoke. 1. White smoke means that the engine if burning more fuel than what it should. This can be rectified byt adjusting the fuel intake. 2. Black smoke means that the engine is burning lube oil. This means trouble as it indicates the piston rings are going. Specially the oils scrapper ring. Please check from the exhaust, when it is touchable if you finger gets wet soot on it. This the burnt oil. Check the oil level too. If there is need to add oil frequently, then that is bad news. Please visit a workshop.

What would cause a choke

IT sounds like the choke is stuck in the on position. You need to inspect the cable and make sure it is free to operate or moves freely. Check down by the carberators and follow the cable back up to where it originates from and see if the thing moves freely at the top and bottom. If not the easiest thing to do is buy a new one and install it or Lube the cable you have and see if you can free it up by using some break free or other lubricant like WD-40 and spray the heck out of the thing.

GOOD luck and let me know how things turn out... Sincerely HDTV GURU JAY

I have a gsx 750 et chop with k&n filters and

If you are trying to run pod filters, give it up and put the factory airbox back on. The Kats don't run well with the pods. If you are running a K&N replacement filter in the stock box, another 1/2-3/4 turn out on the A/F screw will do the trick with factory jets.

Where is the rectifier located on my 2004 suzuki katana 600

Behind the radiator on the left side. It is the device with cooling fins, even though the electronic parts are embedded in rubber paste. The location isn't ideal and sudden defects leave people stranded so what people do is relocate the regulator/rectifier to a cooler place. Perhaps to the air inlet, under the air filter. Follow the three, mostly, yellow cables that originate from the stator when you don't find it behind the radiator.

Why my Suzuki TF 125 losses power in the midway? What are the causes for such loss of power?

What do you mean by "Midway"? How old is this motorbike? What exactly did you do to clean the carburettor? Is it a new spark plug and a new, clean air filter? Did you empty the fuel tank to remove the fuel tap to clean the filter on the inside of the tap? Is it doing anything else? Things like - is it hard to start, has heavier exhaust smoke or it has a rough and uneven idle.

I own a 2009 Suzuki Boulevard. Problem is the motor is jammed. It turns but only half a turn before it hits something solid inside. what are the possibilities it could be that is causing the problem

A broken timing chain is the most likely cause, the piston is hitting an open valve, or you have a dropped valve or a stuck valve. Another possibility is something jamming behind behind the side covers. The key would be how you discovered this? Driving along at 105 and the engine stopped, or ???https://www.google.com/search?q=2009+suzuki+boulevard+timing+chain+or+timing+belt....
