It seems you have a clutch issue Inspect Clutch plates, clutch Pressure cover, Clutch cable.
It may just be a case of clutch cable slightly too loose

You should have about 3MM play on clutch handle so un-tighten till you can move clutch about 3mm without effort then it should be set about right.

93 intruder 1400, what are the specs on clutch

Your bike is getting very old. Replace the clutch plates while parts may still be available. If the clutch is working okay then get the parts and hold on to them for when they are needed. Go to www.babbittsonline.com/pages/parts/viewbybrand/default.aspx

It's possible the voltage regulator output is too high and boiling all the fluid out of the battery. Do you have to add fluid to the battery at all? Have you done a volt output test of your alternator?

Suzuki Intruder 1400 1996, First to Second Gear is harsh!

Change the fluid in the clutch reservoir, bleed out the remaining fluid.(keep it full as you go) Should be dot 4 fluid not dot 3. U may need to rebuild the master cylinder or replace it.

What is the factory settings on the car jets

Dont know what you are trying to set. Only thing about the jets you can set outside of changing the jet size is the little clip on the main jet needle top. Normally the middle groove.
You can pop the factory plugs on the primary jets (idle jets) and mess with them a little to richen or lean it out a bit but they are preset at the factory. Normally a bit lean.

I need information about how to adjust ignition

hi,as with most modern bikes(if not all)the ignition timing is not adjustable, the advance ****** function and all the timing is controlled by the cdi(black box)unit, these are sealed and non adjustable, the only moving part in the whole ignition system is the interrupter which is located on the end of the crankshaft assembly which spins with the crankshaft between two pickup sensors, these sensors are also fixed and non adjustable.all of the timing parameters are factory preset and once again non adjustable,if you are having problems with the bike not running smoothly or surging etc,i would be looking at the carburettors or fuel system..hope this helps

Whats the best oil to use in my 1996 suzuki

Asking about what the best oil to use is liking asking about religion. Everybody has their own opinion. For your Suzuki just use a good quality motor oil that is designed to operate in air cooled engines. If you change your oil on a regular basis (3000 miles) and change the oil filter with every oil change do not spend a lot of extra money on a supreme oil. You will just be throwing away good money that could be used for fuel to take longer rides.
