Hi now knowing what the bike is, simply remove the relay bridge the 2wires and using the switch select left or right it wont flash but it will elimenate the relay if the indicators light as selected the circuit is working correctly andt the relay is faulty, have you tried disconecting the rear indicators, and check if the front ones opperate as normal left when selected and right when selected obviously they wont flash but this will elimenate any short circuit in the rear wireing, do you have a multimeter? Disconect all the indicators, and the switch and flasher relay, with the ignition turned off check for continuaty between the live feed from the front left indicator and the rear right indicator,this will elimenate a short circuit in the live wires you should have no continuaty then check its not going to earth, check between front indicators live, and rear earths you should have no connection reconnect the relay and do the same test

Hi on top of the carbs there is four small spurs blanked off with rubber caps fit the gauges here. Start the bike and check. to adjust there is three screws Ruth springs under them on the throttle shaft. Adjust as required. Remember the carb with the cable is not adjustable. You need to get the other three to synchronise with this one.

have you tried the fuse its a 30 amp dfuse left side of bike nere your leg

That bike has 4) 36mm Mikuni carbs. Most likely they are stopped up. If you have been running U.S. Fuel with ethanol added this is not good for the carbs. Or most likely it was sitting for the winter, and the carbs got stopped up. If you have the carbs cleaned out, this will fix your problem. Keep me updated, and good luck. P.S. if a shop does this work it will be expensive, its not a hard job just time consuming.

Back fire is usually timing

back fire in a four struck engine, bad timing, make sure you got the right timing marks if ok you probably have a bad intake valve

Remove the tank to access the top cover of the engine so the chain is accessible, hold the adjuster bolt, loosen the lock nut, then carefully take the slack out but not too tight, then tighten the lock nut to secure the assembly. replace the top cover gasket and the cover, and re-install the tank.

When you cleaned up the carbs did you also clean out the low speed idle jets? They are the first thing to plug up when your bike sits with out gas stabilizer in the tank. The bike runs great at speed but will not idle properly.

If all the lights are activating when you turn the signal on for a turn then you have the wires crossed, double check your installation. There should be one wire that grounds, one that goes to the flasher 4 way unit and then one wire for each turn signal. If you only replaced the bulbs with the led units you may have connected the wires incorrectly on one or both signals causing this to happen.

That sounds like the clutch thrust bearing. It may go on for a while but I would check it out and maybe change it.

a 93 model is likely to need a chain and tensioner, if you undo the tensioner mounting bolts it should spring out 10-15mm

Your bike has CV ( Constant Velocity ) carbs. That is why the delay is present. This is normal.

check if seat is bolted on

I believe up is on and down is reserve. Or the other way around. but forward is off.

If the bike starts up and the idle speed creeps to high revs all on its' own, this indicates an air leak somewhere between the center throat of the carb and the cylinder head. This is normally a rubber seal or rubber manifold that is old, hard and cracked. I am sure the carbs need to be cleaned, remounted and adjusted. This is a nightmare for the novice mechanic. Replace all rubber fittings and seals including hose fittings and hoses.

key release rear seat cover. 2 bolts on seat lift and pull rearward battery located under seat

key releases back seat and then there are 2 bolts under . Remove and pull seat rearward

Try looking under the seat.
