I have losened all the head bolts and don't want
The head is being held on by the gasket.
If all of the bolts are off gently hit the head with a rubber mallet. Or gently tap a thin putty knife between the head and the jug to seperate the two be very careful not to scratch either surface. Gentle is the key word
lots of luck. If you find this helpful please leave a good rating Thanks, Jack
1994 suzuki 750 . do i check oil through looking
Balance the bike to a level position while looking at the oil glass, with the engine off. Bottom of glass is low, top of glass is full, no oil in glass, top it off, not quite a qt. Use high quality motor cycle full synthetic 5w 30. Hope this helps.
Ive got a lot of gas in my crankcase. i think the
It wont cause damage unless the bike is started , so you must drain the oil and replace before running the engine, it may also need an air filter element.
You then need to fix the cause, which is likely the fuel tap which is vacumn opperated to only work when the engine runs.
My 750 bogs out after it has be ran for a little
i am guess this is a fuel starvasion as if you can imagine its usin the petrol wen ur riding and gradually filling up and its not filling up qick enuff for the amount the carbs are using and when its left the gravity is slowly filling up the carbs hence the reason for it starting a while l8er if it cuts out turn it over for a while then take out the plugs if the plugs are dry thn its petrol starvation i understand the fairing will have to come off but if its a cheap fix you want and you know how to do it thn giv it a go gd luck
How many quarts of oil does a 94 gsxr 750
Usually they take 3 1/3 qts. Just add 3 and watch till it full with the last bit of oil. Then start the
bike and let idle for 5 seconds to fill the oil filter. Let it sit for a couple minutes and recheck the oil level and add more if needed.
I just purchased a 94 Katana 750cc -- sort of a
Sounds like it sat allot.. That causes problems with the carbs.. I would say it runs pretty good for sitting so much.. I would suspect the carbs need cleaning.. or maybe rebuilt,, jetted and synced.. Try some carb cleaner and work you way up from there..
Rate well ;o)
Shift problem
check the clutch ajustment at the side cover or at the handle possible needs slight ajustment
94 gsxr 750w with choke on full still only idles
While pulling up on choke see if there is anyone movement at carbs. If not then choke cable is broken. One final test 1st. Find air intke. It should be under your seat. If you have aftermarket K$N filters or similar then it become more complicated. If you have an air box, place hand over hole and bike should idle faster. Same principal with aftermrket but harder to do, Zip Lock bags or grocery bags if Zip lock are to small should achieve same effect.
My 94 gsxr750 wont start it is getting fire
It needs spark, fuel and air to run. First check all the spark plugs are firing. If they are you could try spraying some carb cleaner in the air filter. If the bike starts up briefly doing this it means you must have a fuel delivery problem.
Oil on the spark plugs is a bad sign. If the method above returns no results the next step would be testing the compression on each cylinder. This requires a special gauge which is relatively inexpensive and easy to use. Hopefully one of these will give a clue as to what is going wrong.
When i use my turn signal it blows my fuse and
Follow the turn signal's wires all the way from the hand switch to the relay to find where it is stripped and touches the chassis. Both wires are positive.Gauges and speedometer probably uses the same fuse with the turn signals so if it is blown the shouldn't work naturally.
94 GSXR 750 DIED WHILE RIDING AND WILL CRANK BUT NOT START
There may not be an in-line fuel filter on the bike. Most bikes don't come with them. Yes, the fuel petcock has two screen filters on one pipe and they can get clogged up. Remove the tank
then remove the petcock and clean it. The gas in the tank should be dumped into a clear plastic storage bin so that you can see if there is any water in the gas as well as rust and trash. Your bike is 15 years old and the inside of the tank may be rusty. If so,
Google “ kreem fuel tank liner “ or go to
www.http://www.4secondsflat.com/Fuel_Tank_Sealer.html
This will end the rust problem. Go ahead an install an in-line fuel filter. There is a drain plug on the lower left side of each carb. Drain each carb into a clear container and look for water and trash. You may need to clean the carbs but hold off to see if the other stuff fixes the problem.
Go to the site below where you can see a parts diagram for your specific bike. You will select the actual brand, year, model, etc., once you go to the site. Part numbers and prices are also shown. You can order parts from this site. In the event no price is shown on a particular part, the part is not in stock.
