2008 kawasaki Ninja 250R Questions & Answers
My, 2008 kawasaki ninja 250,
Hey Simon,
I would haul it to a local (GOOD) locksmith, they will get it open..
Are you 110% SURE it the RIGHT key???
Good luck...
I have to pump the rear brake atleast two times
The pads are chattering and moving away from the disc or you have a load of air in the system. You may need to add/replace anti-vibration clips. Are your discs warped? That would force the pads away.
How do i test a starter solenoid on my ninja 250
I normally put a screwdriver between the terminals on the solenoid to see if it starts. If it does The second thing to do is listen for a click in the solenoid when pressing the start button. If it does but doesn't turn the starter then it's the solinoid at fault not the starter button. If you get nothing when connecting the terminals it's proberly the starter motor or connections.
It was running when all of the sudden it
liquid cooled-check coolant level, check fuel petcock, was it cold and wet when it stopped-maybe the kickstand sensor,if you warm and dry the bike and she starts up-kickstand-good luck
Noisy.. posssible chain or rear sprocket?
It is probably both chain and sprockets. Try rolling the bike backwords, if it is making a clicking sound that does not sound normal, it is time for a new chain and sprockets.
2006 ninja250 not firing
Replace the fuel and clean the carbs/injectors. Basically give it a very good service. After 6 years of sitting unused, the mating faces of the engine internals and the electrical contacts will all be seized or corroded. When you lay a vehicle up for any length of time it needs to have certain things done to allow it to be re-commissioned.

What type of antifreeze can I use for my ninja 250
Use any motorcycle brand, GM Dexcool, or non-silica style antifreeze. 50/50 is usually the desired blend of antifreeze and distilled water. You want to a purchase any antifreeze that does not have rust scrubbing particles in it. The rust scrubbing particles that are contained in automotive antifreeze can damage the ceramic washer used in most motorcycle water pumps causing them to drip. Hope this helps.
