Is there a service manuel for 2007 kawasaki zx6r?

The best one available is the Haynes manual. You can buy it online for considerably less than at a book store or the Kawi dealer.

I Have a 2007 kawasaki zx6r. I have the new stock

Hi,
-While counting how many times, roll the adjuster wheel all the way in (to slack the cable) and line up the slots. You may have to roll back a turn to line them up.

-Slacken the nut on the bottom side of the "pivot bolt" (the bolt the lever pivots on).

-Remove the pivot bolt...

-You should be able to swap the levers easily at this point.

-Slide the new lever (with the cable in the lever) through the adjuster and re-install the pivot bolt. Tighten but don't force too much!

-The nut can go back on now, while holding the pivot bolt in place on top, tighten down the nut on the bottom. The pivot bolt should not move at this point, just the nut.

-Roll the adjuster out the same amount of turns and lock it with the larger wheel.

-You should be ready to ride

-Test it slowly and make sure everything is A1.

Good Luck and Let me know,

Obe

I am a amateur mechanic working on a kawasaki zx6r

  • Get a service manual.
  • Don't mess with the jetting.
  • Don't use synthetic oils or oils with "special" additives.
  • Use only premium gas.
  • Learn about motorcycle electrics and how they work.
  • Don't fix an engine if it ain't broken.
  • Said another way, don't tinker with it until it is broken.
  • Said another way and with a bit different meaning, Tinker with it until you break it and have to fix it.

    Motorcycle

Do you have an owners manual ? If not get one from your dealer, it' an invaluable tool....is your oil level so low your settin off a warning and the computer is smart enough not to let you start a dry engine ? There are troubleshooting tips in the manual....otherwise get it to your dealer, that bike is too new to be having unwarranted problems....Good Luck to you friend...Tim

    Hi!!!!! i have an kawasaki

Check the clutch, neutral and side stand safety interlocks.
Double check that the bike is in neutral, and the clutch is pulled in when trying to start the bike.
If the bike is in gear with the side stand down, the bike cuts off all ignition.
If the clutch isn't pulled in, the starter won't engage.
Check all these safety interlock switches, and make sure you are in neutral with the clutch in when trying to start the bike.

    So I bought an 95

check your Thermostat is engaging, if you have a haynes/clymer manual it will show you how.

check that the radiator is filled 100% from the cap and bled of air by squeezing the hoses,

anything else about the F model is pretty simple,

i used to use www.kawiforums.com for my 95 ZX6R but its an american site, so some of it didnt make sense to me.
