How to replace fuel pump on 2006 kawasaki z750
Order the parts diagram/ book from ebay on CD, print out the pages. (repair manual). My friend says all you have to do is remove the gas tank and there it is. You unscrew a few parts. take i out. You have to Drain the gas into a bucket using a piece of silicon tubing (think of draining an aquarium as a kid).
Unplug/ remove the battery.
then you remove the fuel tank. There'll be residual fuel in the connecting lines, drain those too.
Unscrew the fuel pump.
Put the new one in.
I have to do the same thing, but am procrastinating.
wish there's someone else to do it for me. lol.
The electric start wont work.the

08 brute force 750 efi drowned out now wont start
First things first,If this happened in the last few days,It may still not be dried out and a wet stator will still spark but won't allow starting, due to sparking at the wrong time.(If you have a leaf blower or air compressor with a blow
nozzle,You can use to blow the
connectors and engine area to dry it out)
- Make sure you get all the water out of the breather box.(and remove the filter and leave it out for now)
- make sure you don't have water in the oil.
- Remove the bolt on the bottom of the muffler.(about 2'' from the rear of the exhaust)
- Pull the plugs and turn the motor over with start button for about 30 seconds.
- Blow the plugs to dry around the electrode.
- reinstall plugs.
- Dry filter and re oil it.
- start it up.(if it starts, let it run for about 5 minutes and shut it off)
- reinstall the plug in the exhaust and the air filter.
If it still won't start, post back.
How can I charge the battery on a 2006 750 Kawasaki
Go to Sears or a hardware store and get a 2amp battery charger. Fill the battery cells with water to cover the top of the battery plates. Let charge overnight. The battery may take a charge and hold it OR it may take a charge and not hold it for more than a day or two. A new battery may be needed.
Motorcycle back fires
Start by pulling and checking your plugs. If everything looks good there...check and/or change your plug wires. The last possible is the fuel injection system. That is about all there is that will cause back firing.

(1) engine was overfilled with
Draining some oil is the thing to do. It will probably take a few days for the dripping to stop. The cylinder walls are splash lubricated. Too much oil lessens the splash. Chances are that little or no damage was done. Install a fresh set of spark plugs. Before installing, compare the spark between 1 & 2 cylinder. If the spark is noticeably weaker on cyl 1, consider getting a new coil. Please rate my answer. Thanks.
