What it is saying is not f1. It is saying Fl >>> Fuel Injection. The injection sensors have detected a problem in the system. The problem could be anything from a dirty air filter to a fuel mapping error in the computer system. A dealer can hook up a code reader to see what the exact problem is.

A couple of things that may sound trivial or silly, but check and make sure your kill switch is in the start position.
Check your fuses to make sure they are all still good.
Make sure that when you turn the key you get a neutral light, if not select neutral and try to start it again.
Check you battery is fully charged, a battery that is below charge won't start a bike like it will start a car.
Did you disconnect any other wires if so reconnect them.
Do you have fuel in the tank?

Hello i'm trying to replace
Turn off the ignition, otherwise the ECU may be damaged.
Remove fuel tank cover, seats, battery compartment bolts.
Pull out the battery tray slightly, disconnect the negative terminal wire first.
Everything else is straight forward.
Hope that helps.
Battery charging system doesnt charge
don't let it fool you. sometimes depending how old your battery is will make you think it is not
charging . your bike charges just enough to keep yourou battery at top charge and that is it. so
then you shut your bike down and after a short time you go to crank it back up and it wants to
but just dose not have enough charge to do it, that is when you know your battery is no good .
even if you full charge it and then ride it may be fine , but the lights are on all of the time and
touching the brake will take that full charge a way quick if the battery is no good . 2 years is pushing it , and some will last longer ,but trust me when I say this . good luck.

Hi.
Check the kickstand switch. When it is faulty it will turn off the engine when you put in gear. The switch is tested by jumping it.
Will not charge battery
i cant tell if this is a Honda... but if it is, they are notorious for the plastic connectors melting and it could cause a short and if it does than your voltage regulator system will be affected also and not charge the battery properly.

It has been a long time since you changed the oil and oil filter, right? Extremely dirty, gritty oil can cause the clutch to grab as you describe. There is a $25
get-me-by fix and a $50
do-it-right fix. Th $25
get-me-by fix means you drain the old oil and put in new oil and a new oil filter. The $50
do-it-right fix means you do the $25 fix then ride the bike for an hour and do the $25 fix again. The 1st oil change gets rid of 75% of the bad oil and grit. The hour ride and 2nd oil change gets rid of 95% of what was left after the 1st oil change. There is also a $30 fix and that is the $50 fix but without a second oil filter. The drain plug is on the bottom left of the gearbox. The filter should be at the lower back of the gearbox.
Use 10w40 motor oil in the gear box. Don't use any synthetic oils, oil marked "EC", or oil with "special" additives. Stick with the major brands; Pennzoil, Quaker State, Mobil or Shell. Use Kawasaki brand oil filters. Aftermarket filters often fail.
