NO. IF they are leaking, either they have been overfilled, you nicked the seal during install, the forks have some small surface defect in the seal contact area. If you did not replace them, they need to be replaced.... without regular usage.. they get dry, shrink, sometimes the seal lips crack

triple check choke? Is it staying on once warm? Mine was cable and siezed and choke on to start from cold, when it warmed up it turned out choke was stuck half on. Like if you ride then whack choke on it stalls? ZX7r

You can upgrade to a non rev limited cdi or get a bypass for the rev limiter that is on the bike now, they can be found online by searching for rev limiter bypass for your particular bike...

+12 flow:

• from battery's + terminal to starter relay's 30A main fuse;
• from 30A main fuse through a white wire to the ignition switch;
• brown wire from ignition switch to instrumentation.

Wire color may vary depending on the version.

The right way to find out is to remove the one that is running the bike presently and read the model number on it. These specs will help you locate the right spark plug in future.

sounds like faulty side / head lamp switch is faultyif you only have side light and no dip or main beam

believe it or not petrol, just be carfull that the whole engine is cold before using a stiff paint brush and some petrol to give it a good clean

Get the bike so it is setting upright.
There a plug on the under side of the motor. Remove the plug and have a catch pan to catch the old oil. The filter will need to be changed also. Do this before you put new oil in. Put the plug back in and open the fill plug on the side of the engine and fill with new motorcycle oil. DO NOT USE OIL FOR CARS!! Watch that you do not over fill it.

Rarely will both coils fail. Try disconnecting blk wire with yellow stripe from cdi. Check fire again, if fire is good you !likely have a bad ign switch. If there is still no fire, you will need to test trigger, stater. Also remember the can position senor. Test denser to specs. If cambsenser can't tell cdi where number 1 piston is, there will be no fire. Let me know how it works out for you.

I would say the slave cylinder is going bad.

Does your new switch have a resistor in the bottom of it as the original one does but cheap copies don't and it will not spark if it has no resistor,I have been here before with a gpz500 s
